In any partnership, parties gravitate to their own strengths, whether that is writing, calculating, or nurturing. When a couple gets divorced, suddenly some of those tasks are no longer shared, but now rest on the shoulders of each person. This can be a daunting shift for some people. What do you do when your soon-to-be ex-spouse dealt with the finances and now you have to manage the checkbook?
